Short Form revision and a new posture , co-ordinating body movements accurately. The form we practice in the beginning is the Cheng Man Ching 37 posture Short Form.

Partnerwork , yielding & neutralising .

A short meditation to finish .

Taiji.

Movement is Medicine

Practised by thousands of people worldwide ,

Taiji has its roots in ancient China.

Many people practice daily for health or

esoteric reasons but Taiji goes a lot deeper.

Although push hands may look like martial applications externally , internally the practice is complete different.

Taiji principles…

A list of instructions so to speak of how to perform and learn Taiji correctly.

The original manuscripts. ……….if these instructions are not at the core of your practice , then at best you are just     doing Taiji type physical movements.

Learning …..

Learning anything new requires a structured approach or a model.

I keep it simple , from there , body  sensations arise allowing a natural progression for each individual. From experience I find this is better than a  drop in when you like class.                     I encourage committing to a term of classes .

Sunday Taiji

Sunday morning practice in the Park. Come rain or shine. Emphasising partnerwork ( push hands ). Big trees for rain cover and shade…

Partnerwork is for all practioners       although a little instruction is              necessary .
